Who needs a home inspection?
If you are looking to buy or sell
a home, if your new home has a warranty that is due to expire
soon, or even if you've been in your home for several years,
a thorough inspection is an important part of protecting your
investment. A home inspector can identify major issues that need
to be addressed immediately, or minor issues before they become
major problems.
Vista Inspection Services will give you
an assessment of the following major constituents of your home:
STRUCTURE - Do the footings, foundation and framing appear
to be performing as intended?
ROOF - Are the present roofing materials within their
normal lifespan or do conditions suggest that repairs or replacement
is warranted?
PLUMBING - Has the plumbing been properly installed? Is
water flowing and draining in a functional manner?
ELECTRICAL - Improper wiring can be life-threatening,
as well as a fire hazard.
HEATING/COOLING - Are dirt and wear preventing the system
from doing its job efficiently? Does its condition suggest the
need for further evaluation?
EXTERIOR - The exterior of a home is supposed to protect
you from the harsh elements of the environment. Can it be expected
to do that in it's present state?
INTERIOR - Walls, ceilings, floors, windows, steps, stairways,
countertops, and cabinets are among the interior components considered.
INSULATION and VENTILATION - Your heating and cooling
dollars will go farther and your home will be more comfortable
if it is well insulated and properly ventilated.
